Here’s a quick review of the LEGO set 43272 Hei Hei.
This set was released on March 2025 and showcases Hei Hei from the Disney animation Moana, and more recently Moana 2

Typical LEGO Disney box nowadays with the Disney logo and sparkle top left and the accompanying franchise at the bottom right.
Build
You first build the legs of Hei Hei which are two mirror images of each other and continue on with the body, lil wings and onto the neck and the head.
Upon reaching the neck area, you’ll be welcomed to this page on the instruction manual. there are three to five different shades of yellow/orange/red used for the plumage on Hei Hei’s neck . We’d recommend sorting by colour for this bag.
Hei Hei can be displayed as such, forfeiting the base build.
But of course, it looks nicer on the provided base which carries a very Hawaiian inspired design filled with flora. The Hei Hei nameplate is printed.
A quick look at Hei Hei’s side profiile along with a top down look of the base and the feet. Hei-Hei’s tail is also posable in a way to show it furled up or proudly unfurled.
The designers also left a is a special nod to Hei-Hei’s mental acuity which you can spot while building the head. Let us know if you spotted it! The build is pretty robust and can be picked up easily at its feet or body with one hand without it breaking up.
