Images were released on the Toys R US Japan website along with 3 other main Ninjago Movie sets that will be released on the same date, the 70631 Volcano Base, 70629 Piranha Attack and the good guy mech missing from the first wave, the 70632 Cole’s Quake Mech.
The main draw of this set has to be the Shark Mech that was used in the initial assault by Garmadon in the Lego Ninjago Movie but it also introduces two quirky residents of Ninjago City as seen in the movie; one is the M-Tron Girl with “weird” braces and the other the Hot Dog Guy with his Hot Dog cart. This represents the second time that the Hot Dog suit is reused from the Collectible Minifigure line with the first one being the Friends 41129 Hot Dog Van and from initial pictures seen on the net, this version of the Hot Dog guy has a unique dual faced expression but is otherwise identical to his Collectible Minifigure counterepart.
