The Botanical theme has been hitting all the right spots for LEGO. Today we will take a quick look at a Botanical themed Gift with Purchase set 40588 Flowerpot that’s set to be released worldwide on the 14th April 2023.
Box Experience and Unboxing
The box comes in a pleasing lavender colour. The contents of the box include 5 packs of elements (4 numbered and 1 un-numbered), an instruction manual and 4 loose elements
Build
The start of the build creates the interior of the pot, the stalks of the flowers will slot into the holes giving the plants a stable holding and positioning point. This is reminiscent of the function of foam blocks used in flower arrangements.
In all, there are six plant varieties presented inside this set including cherry blossoms, Salix discolor and billy buttons.
The pot is made of 4 “hot air balloon” elements clipped on the bottom of the main structure.
Finished Set & Summary
Standing at a height of 29 cm/11 in, this small sized set can be placed at any study tables/workspaces without being too intrusive. The bright colours of the plants will brighten up anyone’s day. The pot is also easily opened up and closed again in case anything were to fall off or if you’d like to insert your own creations into said pot. We love the set.
Promotions start from 14th April in Singapore with a minimum threshold of S$249 on LEGO sets to obtain it. This promotion also started from 1st April in Japan and Korea while China will have to wait till the 25th of April to get it.
