LEGO Monkie Kid’s second season is scheduled to be shown in 2021 and recently LEGO Singapore invited the media/adult fans for a special big screen screening of the English voice acted season 2 prelude, Monkie Kid: Revenge Of The Spider Queen. Among the attendees were César Ridruejo (GM, SEA), Rohan Mathur (Marketing Director, SEA) and Tan Zhi-Vern (PR & Events, SEA). The event was brightened up with various Monkie Kid standees around the cinema hall.
The mini movie was prefaced by a video introduction by LEGO Senior Design Manager Dennis Fong and Senior Creative Director Simon Lucas who introduced us to the world of Monkie Kid and intimated that Season 2 will show more of the adversaries teased in Season 1 like the Spider Queen and….the Bone Demon.
Ahead of Season 2, LEGO has also introduced 7 new Monkie Kid sets released in March 2021 :
