LEGO Southeast Asia Partners with Lazada Singapore to introduce #LEGOMasterpieceSG
Singapore, 9 July 2020 – In conjunction with the launch of the LEGO Masters USA on Mediacorp Channel 5 from 15 July to 16 September 2020, LEGO Southeast Asia has teamed up with Lazada Singapore to launch an episode of #LEGOMasterpieceSG Lazada Live (LazLive) to inspire innovative creations with LEGO bricks. On 13 July 2020, fans will see two content creators on LazLive between 12 pm and 1 pm as they seek to express their creativity with a themed build while interacting with fans.
Fans can expect to see 34-year-old lifestyle content creator Victoria Cheng and 31-year-old Mediacorp 987’s DJ Joakim Gomez working together to build an underwater scene with LEGO Classic bricks, alongside crowdsourced ideas from their fans. Ahead of the live session, they will also be sharing their build process and crowdsource for ideas and suggestions from followers on their Instagram pages.
“The LEGO system in play enables creative learning through endless imagination and opportunities. The only limitation to what one can build is our imagination. Through #LEGOMasterpieceSG, we want to help kids and adults alike to develop a creative mindset as they experiment, break the rules, fail, and try again with LEGO bricks. We hope our content creators and the LazLive sessions can inspire innovative creations and fun play experiences with LEGO in Singapore”, said Rohan Mathur, Marketing Director Southeast Asia, The LEGO Group.
For those who are inspired by these creative builds and raring to get started with their building moments, LEGO Southeast Asia will also be gifting a year’s supply of LEGO building sets, worth SGD1,000, to 10 lucky winners. Each interested participant will be included in the draw with a minimum spend of SGD40 per order from 13 July to 13 September 2020, as part of Lazada Singapore’s Spend & Win contest. The 10 winners will be announced on LEGO Singapore Facebook (@LEGOSingapore) on 1 October 2020.
