Tiffany & Co has recently unveiled a unique set of accessories probably inspired by LEGO in their “everyday objects” line that changes everyday utilitarian objects into handcrafted art pieces. This “Building Blocks” accessory is not compatible with Lego bricks but can looks to be stackable with one another as demonstrated in the publicity picture

For those that don’t mind paying USD$1,500 for them, they’ll get a set of 10 blocks which consists of

  • Three pieces of 2×2 blocks measuring 0.62″ square with the stylized acronym T & Co embossed on the studs
  • Three pieces of 2×3 blocks of sterling silver and American walnut blocks, 0.93 x 0.62″ with 727 5th embossed on the studs (727, 5th Avenue is the address of the flagship store of Tiffany & Co in New York)
  • Three pieces of 2×4 blocks of sterling silver and American walnut blocks, 1.55 x 0.62″ with Tiffany & Co embossed on the studs
  • One piece of sterling silver block, 1.55 x 0.62″ with Tiffany & Co embossed on the studs

For those who are inately curious, a 2×4 Lego brick is 1.25×0.62″ so the Tiffany & Co offering is slightly longer but is identical in width.
